I have spent 13 years helping organisations serve their customers better with *data* and *digital.* Now I want to do this for a *brand* I care about.

This page adapts to its reader. Who are you?

I help brands reach their customers through data and digital channels.

    Why Dr. Schär

    Purpose

    Good food for everyone

I love food and think everyone should be able to enjoy it. Working for people with special nutritional needs is a purpose I stand behind.

    Scope

A global role, based in South Tyrol

I do my best work in international teams. Here I could work with markets on four continents from South Tyrol.

    Fit

    Close to the consumer

In every job I asked: what do customers need, and how do we reach them? Here the answer is easy to explain: high-quality food that makes life better every day.

    Industry

    A move into FMCG

FMCG has excited me since my Mastercard work with Rewe, Lidl, Kaufland and Aldi. After many years in financial services, this is where I want to be.

    Sustainability

I want my children to grow up on a liveable planet. I am a realist: most 2030 goals, like ending hunger, will be missed. Contributing matters more than ever. Here is where I could help.

    • SDG 3Good healthShow online how the right food helps people eat safely, and reach those still searching.
    • SDG 10Reduced inequalitiesMake special nutrition easy to find and buy online, even without a specialised store nearby.
    • SDG 12Responsible consumptionShow openly online how products are made, from raw materials to packaging and energy.

    How I work

    04

    Three stories

    Swipe to see all three
    Mastercard Advisors // Frankfurt

    Winning retailers over with data

    The challenge
Retailers had to be convinced to accept Mastercard cards. Aldi and Lidl in Germany only started in July 2015.
    What I did
We offered insights in return. Card data and retail analytics showed Lidl and Aldi how they performed locally and in other markets.
    Why it matters here
More data means better decisions on where to place products. In a market with pressure on margins, that is where the levers are.
    Accenture // Vienna

A new payments platform in three countries

    The challenge
One of Europe's largest banking groups replaced its payments platform in three countries at once, to meet ECB requirements.
    What I did
I worked through every phase, from vendor selection to go-live and handover. In payments, every interface must work before the first transaction.
    Why it matters here
Web shops, CRMs and data platforms also run for years and connect to many systems. I know how to choose ones that last.
    Raiffeisen Information Service // Bolzano

    Digital programme for 40 banks

    The challenge
The Raiffeisen banks in South Tyrol had gaps in digitalisation, and many processes still ran on old systems.
    What I did
Digital transformation manager from start to finish, partly as product owner. We connected app, website and online banking into one experience. I was involved in the CRM selection and implementation.
    What I took away
Never underestimate change management. In traditional companies, new solutions only create value when people are taken along.
    05

    My approach

Questions I would ask in my first week

    1. Which three numbers tell us whether digital is paying off?
    2. How do people move between our digital services, from first health questions to a safe and enjoyable diet?
    3. How do the markets bring in their requests, and who decides on priorities?
    4. What does the team need from me to do its best work?

    My first 100 days

    Days 1 to 30 // Listen
    • One-to-one with every team member
    • Conversations with markets and partners
    Days 31 to 60 // Align
    • One KPI set, agreed with the markets
    • Clear rules for priorities
    Days 61 to 100 // Deliver
    • Two or three visible quick wins
    • A three-year roadmap for budget planning
